AN MSME ‘Tea Talk’ on small and medium-sized enterprise development in the tourism sector will be held on 30 June at the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).

The discussion aims to address challenges facing tourism MSMEs and strengthen cooperation among stakeholders. A virtual coordination meeting held on 24 June covered policy issues, stakeholder engagement, capacity building and funding support.

The Tea Talk will be held in two sessions, with the outcomes forming the basis of a seminar involving relevant ministries and officials. The findings and recommendations will be compiled into a report and submitted to the relevant authorities to support the long-term development of tourism MSMEs through policy assistance. — TWA/KZL
