THE Myanmar Football Feder­ation has appointed Japanese national Ryuji Sueoka as the head coach of the Myanmar U19 national football team.

 

Until last year, U Aung Na­ing served as the head coach of the Myanmar U19 team. Af­ter his contract expired, the decision was made to appoint a Japanese head coach. Ryuji Sueoka has played for clubs in Singapore, Thailand and India during his playing career and holds a UEFA Pro Coaching Li­cence. With the Myanmar U19 team, Ryuji Sueoka will aim to achieve good results in the 2025 ASEAN U19 Championship and the AFC U20 qualifying match­es. He will also serve as the as­sistant coach for the Myanmar U22 team.

The Myanmar Football Federation has assigned Jap­anese coaches as head coach­es for both the U22 and U19 national teams. — Ko Nyi Lay/ KZL
