UNION Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi, who is also the Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee, attended the committee meeting in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. Deputy Minister U Min Thu, who is the committee chairman, the permanent secretary, directors-general, managing directors, chairman, and officials of the Myanmar Gems and Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association, was also present at the meeting.
The meeting discussed jade, gems and pearl lots to be sold at the 2024 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium and work plans for the successful holding of the emporium. — MNA/KTZH
