THE Myanmar Football Fed­eration (MFF), in cooperation with the Asian Football Confed­eration (AFC), opened the AFC/ MFF Pro Diploma Coaching Course Module-I in Yangon on 8 March.

 

The course, the first of its kind in Myanmar, aims to raise the standard of football coaching in the country.

 

A total of 16 trainees — 12 Myanmar and four foreign coaches — are attending the programme, which runs from March 2026 to June 2027 in five modules held in Myanmar, Japan and Saudi Arabia. The AFC Pro Diploma is the highest coaching qualification in Asia and is required to manage teams in major com. — Chit Ko Ko/KZL
