A total of 59 Myanmar migrant workers including 56 men and 3 women were handed over to Myanmar authorities by Thai authorities at Kawthoung Border Gate yesterday.
Myanmar migrant workers were repatriated due to the expiry of their cross border passes and illegal stay in Thailand without proper documents. They were helped to return their homes safely and provide health care services by Township General Administration Department, Labor, Immigration and Population Department, Anti-Human Trafficking Police Force, Department of Labor, Department of Disaster Management and Department of Public Health.
