MYANMAR has formed a 28-player preliminary squad for the remaining group matches of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Third Qualifiers.

 

The Myanmar national football team will face the Afghanistan national football team on 26 March and the Pakistan national football team on 31 March in the remaining group fixtures. The team began training camp on the evening of 19 March.

 

Several new players have been included in the preliminary list, while some players who had been away from the national team for some time have also been recalled. In addition, the top scorers from recent league competitions have been selected, including Sa Aung Pyae Ko of Shan United FC, the top scorer of the Myanmar National League, and Hla Phone Oo of Chinland FC, the top scorer of the MNL-2 competition. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
