Myanmar U-22 men’s football squad ready for AFF U-22 Championship

Myanmar U-22 men’s football squad has been camped in Yangon since December last year to achieve success in the 30th SEA Games to be hosted in the Philippines from 30 November to 10 December this year.

 

The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) has recently sacked U-22 men’s football team’s Head Coach U Kyi Lwin and replaced a Bulgarian coach. Prior to the AFF U-22 Championship, Myanmar U-22 squad played two warm-up matches against Omen and Qatar. The team will be taking part in the AFF U-22 Championship 2019, also known as pre-SEA Games tournament to be held in Cambodia from 17 February to 2 March. Myanmar is pooled in the group B together with Malaysia, Indonesia, and host Cambodia.

 

Myanmar U-22 men’s squad will play against Indonesia at National Stadium in Phnom Penh at 3 p.m. Myanmar Standard Time on 18 February, will clash with host Cambodia at the same venue at 3 p.m. on 20 February and will compete with Malaysia at the same pitch at 3 p.m. on 22 February.
