Myanmar women’s national squad ready for Indian invitational football tournament

Myanmar women’s national football team will participate in a four-nation football tourney to be hosted by India from 7 to 16 February this year, the Myanmar Football Federation reported.


A detailed fixture of the Hero Gold Cup Women’s Football Tournament was announced by the ALL India Football Federation on Monday. The Asian Lioness will compete with host India, Iran and Nepal in the football contest. According to the schedule, Myanmar will play against Nepal at 5 p.m. Myanmar Standard Time on 9 February, clash with Iran at the same time on 11 February and battle against host India at 8 p.m. Myanmar standard time on 13 February.


All matches will be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhuabaneswar, Odisha, India. Myanmar will be lining up at the football tourney under Head Coach U Win Thu Moe.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
