Myo Hlaing Win appointed head coach of Ayeyawady United FC

Former legendary footballer Myo Hlaing Win has been appointed head coach for the Myanmar National league side Ayeyawady United FC, according to the Pathein-based club.

U Myo Hlaing Win took charge of the Myanmar National League clubs Yangon United and Nay pyi Taw FC in the past. He was also a manager of Myanmar U-19 men’s football squad and won the silver medal in the 2018 AFF U19 Championship. He was also the silver medalist with the Myanmar national team at the 1993 Southeast Asian Games hosted by Singapore.

The Fishermen are making necessary preparations to achieve success in the current MNL season and the 2019 General Aung San Shield. The incumbent head coach of the club will serve as assistant coach.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
