Narcotic drug seized in Shan, Kachin states

A combined team of Tatmadaw personnel and the members of Maipashou local police station confiscated 657 kilos of caffeine in two bags on 7th September morning on and near a Vigo car driven by Kya Bo who fled with the car from the arrest of security forces between Kenglat village and Tarlay town two days ago.

 

The car was finally found between Kyaka and Kawmeikhone villages of Namt Khim village-tract in Kenglat Town, and the driver, identified as Kya Bo, is still at large.

 

Moreover, the Anti-Narcotic Task Force and the combined team in Bamaw Township stopped a Wish car, driven by Sam Aung,25, near Wanekham Village on Lwalkyal-Momauk motorway near the Momauk Township, on 7 September morning. The driver and another suspect, identified as Labanyaw, 24, were arrested with 730 kilogram of heroin and a handphone.

 

The Myanmar Police Force have filed lawsuits against all the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
