Narcotic drugs seized in some townships

Narcotic drugs were seized in Bhamo, Momauk and Pyin Oo Lwin townships as reported by the Myanmar Police Force.

 

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Squad searched a PAJERO vehicle driven by Sai Than Pe with Sai Aik Hlaing onboard near Si Ein Village in Bhamo Township of Kachin State at 5:20 pm on February 11 and seized 3.37 Kilos of heroin, 111150 stimulant tablets, 21 kilos of raw opium and K 200000.

 

After making some interrogations, a combined team raided the house of Archi in Aungmye Village in Momauk Township of Kachin State and seized 152 stimulant tablets in the home.

 

In a similar incident, a combined team stopped and searched a TOYOTA IPSUM vehicle driven by Nan Win Kyaw with Naing Lin Tun onboard near Pwekauk Village in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region and seized 2.296 kilos of Happy Water. As a result of investigation, a combined team apprehended Htin Lin Aung along with a motorbike at the corner of 101st street and 63rd street in Chanmyathasi Township of Mandalay Region and Li Shing Pe was nabbed along with a BORGWARD vehicle at the corner of 65th street and 43rd street in Maha Aungmye Township of Mandalay Region at 8:15 am on February 11.

 

In addition, a combined team also raided the house of Sa Juu in Lwesitung Village in Tachilek Township of Shan State and confiscated 10000 stimulant tablets. The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, according to the Myanmar Police Force.—MNA
