Tiddim, 13 October
Five staff housings and school facilities were burnt down by the fire in Tiddim Township, Chin State, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The fire broke out in the compound of a basic education high school (branch) in Tongzam Village, Tiddim Township at around 1 p.m. on 12 October. The fire is believed to have started from an ember of a house. The blaze torched five structures but no casualties were reported in the incident.
A probe has been ordered to investigate into the cause of the fire by the local police.
