A ceremony to inaugurate a new school facility and hand over it to the Department of Education was held in Shwe Talone Village in Htigyaing Township, Sagaing Region yesterday morning.
Firstly, the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Maung Maung, Regional MP U Myint Maung, Chairman of the township management committee U Ba Win, Township Education Officer U Nyein Win and a member of the school board of trustees cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the school structure. Next, the lawmakers and the township education officer launched the stone inscription of the school. They then handed over documents relating to the school building to the Department of Education through the township education officer.
The new school facility was built with Ks. 33.3 million allotted in the fiscal year 2018-2019. The inauguration ceremony of the school structure was held in conjunction with a school family day event for the academic year 2019-2020.—Ye Lin Tun (IPRD)
