A ceremony to inaugurate a new school facility and hand over it to the Department of Education was held at B.E.H.S in Kyauktan Village in Hopong Township, Pa'O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State( South) this morning.
At the ceremony, Minister for Ministry of Shan State Social affairs Dr. Myo Tun, Chairman of the Leading Body of Pa’O Self-Administered Zone U Khun San Lwin, Director of Department for Development for Border Areas and National Races U Aye Ko and officials from Shan State Department of Education and other Departments cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the school structure.
Then, Daw Aye Aye Than from Saydana Group handed over the new school and documents relating to the school building to the Department of Education.
The new school building was jointly built by the township Department for Development for Border Areas and National Races under Ministry of Border Affairs, Neikban Foundation, Saydana Group and locals.—Nay Min Tun, IPRD
