Hlinethayar, 12 August
No casualties were reported after a fire broke out in a pellet factory belonging to Htoo Thit Group in Shwe Lin Ban Industrial Zone in Hlinnethayar Township, Yangon Region on 11 August.
The fire started at about 9:50 p.m. on 11 August and firefighters rushed to the scene of fire. They completely extinguished the blaze by using 30 fire engines, four administrative vehicles and six water tankers about 50 minutes later.
The fire destroyed one-storey steel structure and animal feed bags. The cause of the fire is still unknown and an investigation into the case is ongoing.—IPRD
