No one injured in Magway fire

No casualties were reported in a fire at a mini-store in Magway. The fire broke out at a mini-store belonging to U Tun Tun Oo in Magway early this morning.

Firefighters led by Township Administrator U Thet Lwin and Commander of the regional fire brigade U Aung Win Sein rushed to the scene of fire. Firemen in cooperation with locals brought the blaze under control and completely extinguished the flame 20 minutes later. Some refrigerators and household items were damaged by the fire.


The fire is believed to have started from an overheated gas pipe of a refrigerator and an action is being taken against the owner of the mini-store over fire negligence by the local police.
