Officials inspect completion of rural road in Aunglan Township’s rural area

Officials from the District and Township Departments of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the completion of rural road in Myinsu Village in Aunglan Township, Aunglan District of Magway Region this morning.

On the occasion, officials led by Daw Myint Myint Aye, staff officer of Aunglan District Department of Rural Development and party and members of village road development committee met with responsible officials from Magway S Three construction Company and gave necessary instructions.

The rural road measuring seven furlongs in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. and nine inches in height has been constructed since the fourth week of June 2023 by Magway S Three construction Company with K. 31.22 million allocated by the regional government in 2022-2023 FY and all the projects have been completed 100 percent.

The road brings socio-economic development to 431 local people from 127 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Ko Hlaing
