Oil prices dip but remain higher

18 September

Crude oil prices fell slightly but remained higher even after Saudi Arabia's announcement that the country's oil supply is back on track following attacks on its production facilities.

West Texas Intermediate crude futures in New York fell slightly on Tuesday, with the closing price at 59 dollars per barrel.

Brent crude oil futures in London also edged lower and trade ended at 64 dollars per barrel.

Both futures are still more than 6 percent higher than last week's close, reflecting growing concerns about geopolitical risks.
