BURMESE Python Aung La N Sang will battle Filipino heavy-weight champion Brandon Vera at the ONE Championship: Century in Tokyo, Japan today (13th October).
Aung La N Sang posted on his social media page yesterday, “Tomorrow it’s all going to be done. I face Brandon Vera in the One Championship Circle. It’s an honor for me to face some-one I’ve been a fan of for the last decade.”
The bout between Aung La N Sang and Brandon Vera will be the main event of the ONE Championship: Century for light heavyweight world champion-ship.
The co-main events are the bouts between Japan’s Shinya and Filipino Honorio Banario, Brazil’s Bibiano Fernandes and Philippines’ Kevin Belin-gon, Thai fighter Rodtang Jit-muangnon, along with Brazil’s Walter, Armenian-Italian Giorgio Petrosyan and French-Algerian Samy Sana.
The prelims 5 is the bout between Japan’s Mei Yamaguchi and Taiwan’s Jenny Huang in women’s atom weight class, the prelims 4 is the bout between two Japanese fighters Yosuke and Arjan Bhullar in heavy weight class, the prelims 3 is the bout between Japan’s Shoko Sato and Brazil’s Rafael Silva in Bantam weight class, the prelims 2 is the bout between Brazil’s Hernani Perpetuo and Japan’s Hiroyouki Tetsuka in welter weight class and the prelims 1 is the bout between two Japanese fighters Ko-shi Matsumoto Takasuke Kume in light weight class.
The bout between Aung La N Sang and Brandon Vera is scheduled for around 5 pm.
