The annual meeting of Parents and teachers was held in conjunction with awards ceremony at the meeting hall of Paukkaung Basic Education High School in the town of Paukkaung, Bago region yesterday afternoon.
The event was opened by a song performed by schoolchildren. Then, U Win Naing, MP of the regional Hluttaw, U Kyaw Htay, township administrator and U Myint Shwe, assistant education officer made speeches. Afterwards, Daw Htay Htay Myaing, headmistress, dealt with the aim of awards ceremony, calling for the cooperation of parents in the school’s education activities together with teachers.
Then, officials gave cash prizes and certificates of honor to students who passed the 2019 matriculation exam with flying colors, outstanding students in all grades who got grade A and hard-working teachers.—Chit Yin Htoo (Paukkaung)
