A total of 152 new manufacturing workers were sent to the Republic of Korea on 28 October through the Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA), announced by the Myanmar Embassy.
Myanmar workers arrived at Incheon Airport by Myanmar National Airlines UB 8301 (charter flight), and the labour attaché from the Myanmar Embassy in Seoul welcomed them and provided necessary assistance, stated the embassy.
One hundred and fifty-three manufacturing workers on 7 August, seven agriculture and livestock workers and 145 manufacturing workers, totalling 152 on 16 July and 188 manufacturing workers on 25 June, were sent under EPS.
One hundred and fifty-two manufacturing workers on 21 May, and 146 manufacturing workers and 24 agriculture and livestock workers, totalling 170 on 7 May, were sent.
Four hundred and twenty-one in April, 862 in March, and 1,333 in February were previously sent. — MT/ZS
