Gangaw, December 28
The last week’s mass walking activity of December sports month took place at 6:00 am in the town of Gangaw, Gangaw district, Magway region today.
Starting the activity in front of the township General Administration Department office, the participants walked along Bogyoke road, Shwepyi Seik Oo pagoda road, Myitthar town hall road and into the town sports ground where they took physical exercises.
A total of 4320 people including Gangaw District Deputy Administrator U Maung Muang Naing, township administrator U Maung Maung Aye, departmental head at district and township level, departmental personnel, members of social organizations, teachers and schoolchildren and local people participated in the activity.—144
