Officials from the township Department Social Welfare provided cash assistance to the families who have very limited and irregular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon Region this morning on a door to door basis.
The provision of this cash aid is the second of its kind in the Township. The government has been providing cash aid to the low-income families in the township amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Under this cash aid program, 10477 non-regular basic households from 19 wards in the Township received K 40000 each. Also present on the occasion were departmental officials and ward administrators.
