Police in Afghanistan's eastern Khost province arrested a man who was charged with murdering four members of a family, the country's Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.
"During a special operation on Monday night, the provincial counter-crime police personnel has arrested a man charged with shooting and killing four members of a family in Khost province," the ministry said in a statement.
The shooting erupted after an argument on Monday evening. Some amount of ammunition including 600 AK-47 bullets, three bomb propellers, two hand-grenades and several rounds of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) have also been confiscated from the suspect, the statement added.
Police started investigation into the case.
