Different guns, magazine, Walkie-talkies and related items were seized by local police in a house raid in Kalay, Sagaing Region on 4 August.
A combined force consisting of members of the anti-drug squad and policemen from the district police force raided the house of a drug suspect named Min Thang Zae Wah, 41 from Letpanchaung Village, Kalay Township at about 4:45 p.m. on 4 August. They discovered one .22 rifle which was equipped with a sniper, one double barrel gun, two air guns, two gas pistols, one magazine, 2000 pellets, four field glasses, six Walkie-talkies and related materials in the house.
Action is being taken against the drug suspect over possession of weapons in accordance with the law by local police.—MOHA
