Post-Primary school upgraded to sub-Middle School in Nganzun Tsp.

A ceremony to upgrade the Basic Education Post-Primary School to a Basic Education Sub-Middle School was held at sub-B.E.M.S in conjunction with school family day in Makyi Village, Nganzun Township, Mandalay Region yesterday.

The Pyithu Hluttaw representative U Min Thein, the regional Hluttaw Lawmaker U Kyaw Soe Naing, the township Administrator U Zaw Win and head of the school Daw Khin Myo Thwe cut a ribbon to formally open the school.

Then, students from sub-B.E.M.S performed a song and U Minthein, U Kyaw Soe Naing and U Zaw Win delivered speeches respectively. Next, head of the school clarified matters relating to the school and the school family day. Afterwards, village Administrator U Win Swe spoke words of thanks. This was followed by the presentation of award to outstanding students by officials.

Also present of the occasion were the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative, the region Hluttaw Lawmaker, the township Administrator, staff officer of the township Education Department, village Administrator, Chairman of school development committee, locals, teachers and students.—U Thet Naung Oo
