Post-Primary School upgraded into sub-Middle School in Thazi Tsp.

A ceremony to upgrade a Basic Post-Primary School into sub-Middle School was held in Monpinson Village, Thazi Township, Mandaly Region this morning.

First of all, officials from the Township’s GAD, Education Office cut a ribbon to open the school’s signboard. Afterwards, the Township Administrator U Zaw Lin Maung and staff officer of the Township Education Office U Soe Oo and officials delivered speeches. 

Next, village administrator U San Win spoke words of thanks and then headmaster U Aung Thein Htay presented about necessities of the school and handed over flag to staff officer of the Township Education office.

The school was first opened as a Basic Education Primary School in 1989 and promoted into a Post-Primary School in 2017. After which it was promoted into Basic Education sub-Middle School in 2019. 

Altogether 450 students are studying in the school, it is learnt.—Tun Tun (Thazi)
