THE Ministry of Electric­ity and Energy claimed that the Mann Power Plant will replace the multifunctional meters of the feeders that transmit electricity.

 

The Mann Power Plant, located in Minbu Township, Minbu District, Magway Region, will be linked to the Supervisory Control and Data Acqui­sition (SCADA) system, allowing the National Control Centre (NCC) in Nay Pyi Taw to monitor electricity transmission in time, improve electrici­ty system control, and en­sure electricity stability.

 

The feeder replace­ment and installation work will be launched on the 132/33/11 kV 50 MVA transformer at the plant from 8 am to 12 noon on 14 June. 132/66/11 kV 40 MVA transformer will be temporarily shut down from 2 pm to 5 pm.

 

During this work, power will be cut off in Pwintbyu, Salin, Minbu, Malun, Minhla, Saku, Hsingaung will age of Ngaphe Township, which are distributed by 33 kV and 11 kV power lines from the Mann Power Plant. Factories, plants, and the public in these areas have been notified in advance.

 

In addition, to strengthen the Switch Bays of the 33 kV Khanaungto power line and the 33 kV Town Office (1) power line at the 230 kV Kanaung Main Sub­station and to prevent un­necessary power outages.

 

The Ministry of Elec­tricity and Energy has in­formed that there will be a power outage in Aye vil­lage of Seikkyi Khanaung­to Township and the vil­lages and wards of Dala Township on 15 June and in the wards of Industrial Zone I, Industrial Zone II, Nyaung village and Daisu on 30 June via the rele­vant township electrical engineering offices. — TWA/MKKS
