MR Ajit Doval, National Securi­ty Adviser (NSA) of India, paid a courtesy call on President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing, currently in New Delhi, India, on an official visit, on the afternoon of 31 May.

 

At the meeting, they frankly exchanged views on the promo­tion of friendly ties and coopera­tion between the two countries, the security, peace and stability in border region, and measures to further promote multi-sector cooperation between Myanmar and India.

 

Also, present at the meeting were Union Ministers U Khin Maung Yi and U Tin Maung Swe, and officials. The National Secu­rity Adviser (NSA) of India was accompanied by Ambassador of India to Myanmar Shri Abhay Thakur and officials. — MNA/TTA
