THE Department of Rural Develop­ment under the Ministry of Cooper­atives and Rural Development, held a township-level review meeting of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Pro­ject in Monghsat Township, Shan State (East), yesterday morning at the department’s meeting hall with the participation of township-level stakeholders, departmental officials, members of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project com­mittees.

The meeting aimed to ensure more effective and successful implementation of the project and to ex­change experiences gained from project activities.

At the ceremony, U Sai Aung Myo Htet, District Head of the Monghsat District Department of Rural Development, and Township Administrator U Ah Lun of the Township General Administration Department delivered remarks.

U Sai Soe Htay, Head of the Monghsat Township Department of Rural Development, then explained the objectives of the review meeting and matters related to project activities.

Members of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project committees attending the review meeting then formed groups and presented discussions on strengths, weak­nesses and difficulties encountered during the financial year in relation to the project.
