Informative talk on Consumer Protection, jointly organized by Department of Consumer Affairs under the Ministry of Commerce and Basic Education Schools, was conducted at post-Primary School-1 in Seinpaungwe, Thayet District, Magway Region yesterday.
At the event, an official from the Township Department of Consumer Affairs elaborated consumer rights and responsibilities.
Afterwards, an official from the Township Education officer’s Office called on students to take care of their health and not to eat expired food. Then, they distributed handouts on consumer protection awareness to the attendees.—Nay Chi (Sinbaung)
