The public talks titled “Rural Development” were conducted at the hall of Kauktaung Village (East), Hkamti Township, Sagaing Region yesterday.
First of all, the region MP U Thein Hlaing Win delivered an opening speech and an official from IPRD clarified the purpose of the talks.
Afterwards, the region MP U Thein Hlaing Win, officials from the District Rural Development Department, the Township GAD and the Township DRD, the Township Education Department, the Township Agriculture Department, the Township Health Department, the Township Disaster Management Department discussed about the development programs in rural areas.
At the meeting, relevant officials answered queries raised by those present on the occasion. The talks were attended by 150 people from rural areas.—Chan Law, (Hkamti)
