Public talks on scourge of drugs conducted in Myaungmya

Myaungmya, 16 January

Public talks titled “Youth and Scourge of Narcotic Drugs”, organized by the district IPRD and Myanmar Union Dhama University in Myaungmya, were conducted at the Johnyonero hall of Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary in the town of Myaungmya, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

At the event, Deputy Principal of Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary delivered an opening speech. Then, an official from the district IPRD clarified the purpose of the talks. Afterwards, a girl from the Myanmar Union Adventist Seminary sang a song titled “to avoid narcotic drugs”.

The region Hluttaw Representative Daw Khine Zin Oo, Dr. Than Min Htut from Myaungmya People’s Hospital, the district law officer Daw Let Let Ko, Police Capt. Kyaw Soe Tun from Myaungmya Police station, writer Pyusin, chairman of book club U Maw Myo Tun discussed the dangers of drugs at the talks and answered queries raised by those present on the occasion.—District IPRD
