Rikhawdar, 22 July
With the aim of raising awareness among youths of the scourge and disadvantages of drugs , public talks titled “Youth and Scourge of Narcotic Drugs” were conducted at the meeting hall of GAD in Rikhawdar, Chin State yesterday.
First of all, U Cim Lam Khaing, staff officer of the Township GAD delivered an opening speech and U Lal Pek Lawm, staff officer of Rikhawdar Information and Public Relations Department clarified the purpose of the talks.
Afterwards, officials from the Township’s Police Station, Station Hospital, Fire Services Department, discussed about Youth and Danger of Narcotic Drugs and answered queries raised by those present on the occasion.
Also present on the occasion were departmental officials, the Township Women Association, the township Maternal and Child Welfare Association, youths, community leaders and invited guests.—U Lal Pek Law, Township IPRD
