Relief items were provided to fire victims in Minmagon Village, Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region yesterday evening.
At the event, staff officer of the district Department of Disaster Management Daw Su Wai clarified the purpose of the provision of relief items for fire victims, and handed over K 900000 for building materials and rice, and rescue kit box with 17 items to seven families whose homes were destroyed by fire in the Township.
The fire was thought to have started from an ember left in the house of Daw Po on 11 May and spread to other six houses.—Than Htay Aung
