Zin Kyaik, 1 July
Some houses in low-lying area in Zin Kyaik Town, Mon State have been inundated by floodwaters from as a consequence of heavy rains and they were evacuated to a temporary relief camp.
The evacuation process was supervised by local authoritieswith the participation of departmental officials and ward administrator plus local people.
Arrangements are being made by the township administrator and concerned officials to provide food and relief supplies to flood victims.
