Paungde Township Rural Development Department carried out a review of emerald green projects this morning.
The event took place at the meeting hall of the township Rural Development Department in the town of Paungde, Pyi district, Bago region. First, Daw Kyi Kyi Aung, head of the township Cooperative Department made an opening speech.
Then, U Yu Naing Lin, head of the township Rural Development Department clarified the purpose of the review, stressing the need for collection of loans. He also urged village committees on implementing emerald green projects to follow good practices.
Then, village committees presented the defects and advantages of agricultural, livestock breeding projects implemented under emerald green projects from 2014 to 2019.
Departmental officials at township level and local people from 38 villages, in which emerald green projects are under implementation, were present at the event.— Nyein Thu
