Tachilek, 23 June
Security forces confiscated some rounds of ammunition from a Thai national at a security checkpoint in Tachilek Township, Eastern Shan State on 22 June.
Security personnel stopped a motorbike driven by a Thai man from Monglin to Tachilek at Maeyang checkpoint. The body search of the motorcyclist has led to the discovery of over 600 rounds of ammunition.
Arrangements are being made to take action against the Thai man identified as Arnut Chai, 23 years old over possession of ammunition.—Phyo Law (Tachilek)
