Rural electrification facilities launched in Mongnai Tsp.

A ceremony to launch rural electrification facilities was held in Panaue village, Mongnai Township, Langkho District, Shan State (South) yesterday.

 

Under the National Electrification Project (NEP), 11 KV transmission line and a 200 KV transformer were implemented. In addition, installation of 400 V transmission line was conducted with K 66 million allocated by funds of Shan State Government. Over 480 local residents from 132 households in the village will be available 24-hour electricity.

 

Under the NEP, rural electrification projects are being undertaken in 11 villages in the township and arrangements are being made to distribute 24-hour electricity to 10 remaining villages.
