An event to inaugurate a rural electrification facility was held in Theepin Village, Myothit Township in Magway Region yesterday evening.
On the occasion, the Lower House Lawmaker U Tha Aung, Magway Region MP U Than Swe and Township Administrator U Thein Zaw Oo cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the electrification structure. The MPs, and township administrator gave speeches and an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise shared knowledge about the risks of electricity and distributed pamphlets to locals.
Also present on the occasion were departmental officials, members of the township maternal and child welfare association, firefighters and volunteers from local NGOs.
