Rural health care center handed over in Tatkone

A ceremony to hand over a rural health care center which was donated by (People’s Hope Japan) PH- Japan in Gwebin village, Shartaw village-tract in Tatkone Township, Nay Pyi Taw was held at the building this morning.

At the ceremony, member of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Tun delivered an opening speech. Next, Mr. Koji Sano (Managing Director; PH Japan) and Mr. Yuichi Shingai (Country Driector; PHJ Myanmar) clarified the purpose of the donation. Then, Mr. Koji Sano (Managing Director; PH Japan) handed over proper documents related to the health care center to Township Medical Officer Dr. Tun Tun.

Afterwards, member of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Tin Tun, Mr. Koji Sano (Managing Director; PH Japan), and Deputy Director-General Dr. Myat Wunna Soe from Nay Pyi Taw Public Health Department formally opened the rural health care center and looked around the building.

The center will benefit a total of over 7,000 local residents in the village-tract. Accordingly, the local residents will enjoy the medical treatment in time in addition; they will save time and money. The rural health care center, staff housing and medical equipment were furnished by (People’s Hope Japan) PH- Japan and the land area for the center was donated by U Khin Maung Myint and his family in Gwebin village.
