With the aim of distributing agricultural products to marketplace in time, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking construction of rural roads and bridges across the nation. Minbu Township Department of Rural Development is conducting the construction of a rural road in Mannkyauk village, Minbu Township, Magway Region. Now, the construction has been completed, according to the department.
The rural road which is 8600 ft in length, 12 ft in width and one foot and 9 inches in depth, one box culvert and six aqueducts were constructed with K 51.722 million by Soe Kyi Aung Construction Company.
Upon completion, agricultural products from 400 acres of farmland nearby villages will be distributed to the marketplace in all seasons without wasting time and money, said Township Officer from the Department U Aung Phone Lin.
