Rural road opens in Manaung Township

Manaung, 11 November

A ceremony to inaugurate a rural road was held at the entrance of the road in Kinte Village, Manaung Township, Rakhine State at about 8 am on 11 November.

Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Shwe Hla Aung and members MajorThu Rein Soe and U Kyaw Mya and village administrator of Kinte village U Than Win cut a ribbon to formally open the road. A bout 30 people attended the opening ceremony of the road.

The gravel type road measuring 2,000 ft. in length and 25 ft. in width was constructed by Mayga Construction Company with Ks. 45 million provided by Japan and Germany governments and connects three villages. It was built Under the arrangement of Rakhin State government and UNDP.—Thein Pe(IPRD)
