State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, accompanied by SAC Member Dr Hmu Thang, Union ministers, the Chin State Chief Minister, deputy ministers and relevant officials, attended the ceremony to mark the 76th Anniversary of Chin National Day in Haka on Tuesday.
At the ceremony, the General read out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing to the event.
On the occasion, the General, SAC member Dr Hmu Thang, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Chin State Chief Minister Dr Wong Hsun Thang and Deputy Minister U Htein Lin presented honorary titles of the Chin State government to relevant recipients whereas Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and Deputy Minister Dr Tun Htut gave aids to officials.
In the evening, they all enjoyed a bonfire to mark the Chin National Day together with Chin traditional dance troupes. — MNA/KTZH
