A car loaded with sawn teaks was seized on Yangon-Mandalay old road, east of Mingone village, Hlegu townsip, Yangon North District yesterday morning.
Forest staff searched a car parked on Yangon-Mandalay old road near Mingone village and seized a total of 17 sawn teaks weighing 0.8564 tons hidden inside the car.
The search for the driver and the owner of the car is ongoing to bring them to court according to section 43 (a) of Forest law.—Naing Lin (Hlegu)
