A ceremony to launch a new school building at Basic Education Middle School (Branch) in Naung-san village in Hopong Township, Pa’O Self-Administered Zone in Shan State (South) was held this morning.
The new school building was formally opened by MP U Khun Maung Phyu of State Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Nan Tint, Deputy Township Education Officer U Zaw Lwin, Head of the school Daw Swe Swe Htike Tin and member of Japan Nippon Foundation(Sadana) Organization Daw Aye Than.
At the ceremony, the MP of state Hluttaw and the Township Administrator gave remarks. Then, the Deputy Township Education Officer handed over proper documents relating to the new facility to the Head of the school.
The new building which is 60 ft in length, 30 ft in width was constructed with funds of Nippon Foundation, Progress of Border Areas and National Races Development and local people’s contribution.
