Taungdwingyi, 17 June
A ceremony to open an upgraded basic education high school was held in Moehti Village, Taungdwingyi Township in Magway Region this morning.
At the ceremony, Amyotha Hluttaw U Aung Kyi Nyunt, Regional Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population U Myint Swe, Township Administrator U Thein Zaw Win and officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the upgraded school and had a documentary photo taken.
The lawmaker, the regional minister and the director of the Department of Education gave speeches and the headmistress expressed words of gratitude. The basic education high school (branch) was promoted to a BEHS.—Naing Win (IPRD)
