With the aim of preventing and controlling the spread of COVID-19, basic schools in Pindaya Township, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South) were closed and now, the schools are reopened on December 13.
The basic schools are reopened in line with the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports. In the township, there are nine Basic Education High Schools, seven Branches of Basic Education High Schools, seven BEMS, eight Branches of Basic Education Middle Schools and 89 BEPS, according to the office of Township Education Officer.
