With the aim of helping people facing natural disasters, fire brigades practiced a search and rescue drill at the open field in front of the township Fire Services Department in Yekyi township, Pathein district, Ayeyarwady region this morning.
A total of 35 fire brigades participated in the drill which focused on rescuing victims trapped in the rubble and systematic ways of handling injured victims.
The drill is intended to develop the capability of fire brigades. —Aung Myint Myat (Yekyi)
