Officials from Department of Social Welfare provided cash assistance to senior citizens between 80 and 85 years old in the town of Kyikha, Falam District, Chin State this morning.
Under the COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan, the government is providing cash assistance to the elderly people, persons with disabilities and households with irregular income. Now, a total of 13 elderly people in two Wards in the town of Kyikha were provided with cash assistance at a rate of K 30,000 per person.
